Raspberry Flaxseed Jam
Ingredients:
- 12 ounces of raspberries (I like to use organic)
- 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup (may add more or less depending on your preference)
- 2 tablespoons flaxseed meal
Method:
- Wash and pat dry the raspberries.
- Add the raspberries and the lemon juice to a saucepan (I like to use a non-stick saucepan for this one) and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, frequently stirring while mashing the berries.
- Add the maple syrup and cook (stirring frequently) for an additional 4-5 minutes.
- Taste and add more sweetness, if desired.
- Transfer it to a glass (heat-proof) bowl and add the flaxseed meal. Mix to combine and set it aside to thicken.
Once it has cooled, you may serve it immediately or place it in the refrigerator. You can keep it in the fridge for up to 5 days.
This jam is delicious in yogurt or used as cake filling!

Method:
- Add the blueberries and lemon juice to a saucepan and cook (over medium heat) for 5 minutes stirring frequently while mashing them with the back of your cooking utensil.
- Add the maple syrup and chia seeds. Mix to combine and cook (stirring frequently) for an additional 5 minutes. Taste and add more sweetness, if desired.

🍓 Strawberry Spread
Ingredients:
- 12 ounces of strawberries, washed and stems removed
- 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup (may add more or less depending on your preference)
Method:
- Wash and pat dry the strawberries and cut the stems off. Dice the strawberries into chunks and add them to a saucepan.
- Add the lemon juice to the saucepan and cook (over medium heat) for 5
minutes, stirring continuously while mashing the strawberries. - Add the maple syrup and cook (stirring frequently) for an additional 4 minutes. Taste and add more sweetness if desired.
- Place a strainer over a glass/heat-proof bowl and safely pour the strawberries
into the strainer. Use a fork to mash and move the strawberries around to help strain all of their liquid into the bowl. Remove the strainer and allow it to cool. - Your strawberry sauce is ready to use.
Or, you may cover it with a lid and keep it in the refrigerator until you’re ready to use it.
