Prep: 5 mins
Bake: 15 mins
Yields: About 10 Crayons

Materials:

🌍 30-40 broken crayons
🌍 10 Bumkins Silicone Little Dippers or shallow oven-safe mold
🌍 Baking Tray
🌍 Bumkins Splat Mat or Table protector

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 280°F

  2. Remove all the wrappers from your crayons. You can soak them in water for easier removal.

  3. Protect your table with Splat Mat or recycled Newspaper and start breaking up the crayons into smaller pieces.

  4. Fill your Silicone Little Dippers or molds with whatever color combinations you prefer! We opted for earth tones, but feel free to use any colors. Fill your molds halfway with broken crayons.

  5. Place your molds on a baking sheet and bake at 280°F for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before removing from the molds.

  6. Enjoy your new crayons!

*Note: There may be a small amount of residue left on your Silicone Little Dippers depending on the type of crayons used. If this happens, bring a pot of water to a boil, let your dippers simmer in the water for a minute, then remove and immediately wipe clean.
