Nutritious Veggies – 2 Ways 🥕🥦

Steam cooking/steam roasting is a fantastic way to cook veggies, preserve their nutrients and get them super soft for babies.

Steam-Cooked Carrots 🥕

Prep: 5 mins
Cook: 13-15 mins

  1. Cut carrots into uniform sized pieces.

  2. Add to the Bumkins Silicone Reusable Bag. Remove as much air as possible and seal.

  3. Add the bag to a pot of water (around 6 cups).

  4. Bring the water to a boil and cook for 13-15 minutes.

  5. Once cooked, carefully remove the bag using tongs.

  6. Season, if you like, and serve.

Steam-Roasted Broccoli 🥦

Prep: 5 mins
Cook: 13 -15 mins

  1. Preheat the oven to 400f.

  2. Cut the broccoli into roughly the same sized pieces.

  3. Add to a bowl and toss with olive oil and seasoning of choice.

  4. Add to the Bumkins Silicone Reusable Bag. Remove as much air as possible and seal, leaving a small vent at one end.

Cook for 13-15 minutes. Once cooked, carefully remove the bag from the oven using tongs. Serve and enjoy!
