Send Secret Messages with Invisible Ink Made From Laundry Detergent
Anyone who has ever made slime with glue and laundry detergent understands the magic powers of science; The folks at Teach Beside Me discovered another one of soap's secret powers.
"Laundry soap has something added to it called phosphors. This helps to make clothes appear brighter in the sunlight. A phosphor is something that glows under a black light. When they are exposed to the Ultraviolet light, they absorb the light and remit some of it back. It is also called fluorescence."
Now your littles can send secret messages with their version of the Marauder's map!
All you need is:
- laundry soap
- small paint brush or Q-tip
- small UV flashlight
“I solemnly swear I am up to no good”
